Murray Wyatt
Director and Chairman
Qualifications: FCPA (FPS)

Murray is recognised amongst his peers as an expert in Family Governance and Inter-generational Wealth transfer. He specialises in providing advice in complex cases and blended families. He can utilise the accounting, legal and wealth management resources of the Morrows Group, a multidiscipline practice, to provide superior strategic outcomes.

Alistair Hamblin
Director
Qualifications: BCom, CA, AICD

Alistair has been in business since 1980. He founded the Commercial Advisory Group (CAG) in 1998, which was later acquired by WHK. He joined Morrows in 2008 and is now one of two General Managers at Morrows, a member of the Morrows Senior Management Team and provides input to the Board on the direction and growth of the Business Services, Taxation and Superannuation teams.

Laurel Moulynox
Director

Laurel joined Morrows as a Graduate Accountant in 1994. Her hard work and devotion to Morrows and its clients have seen her progress to General Manager. She is a member of the Senior Management Team as well as the Morrows Investment Committee. Laurel consolidated her accounting skills initially then branched out into superannuation, financial advisory, estate planning, portfolio construction and advice. She has consulted to the CPAA on the Superannuation and Financial Planning course material for the graduate accountants program.

Neil Yeoman
Director
Qualifications: BBus, CA, FIPA

Neil started in public practice in 1990 and worked in three firms over the next decade, developing strong general taxation knowledge. It was at this point Neil decided to specialise in superannuation having joined Morrows in 1994 and observing their considerable strength in this area. Neil’s work for Morrows clients covers their self managed super funds, compliance and audit matters. He is also regularly contacted by other accountants for guidance on complex superannuation compliance matters relating to their clients.

Duncan Pelham-Webb

Duncan is a third generation lawyer and has been actively practising law since 1977, joining Morrows Legal in 2011. Duncan has been involved in all aspects of property law. Often acting for the lenders to property transactions, Duncan has developed knowledge and expertise on almost everything there is to know about property – from the methods of holding property, to intellectual property rights to zoning and planning to the planning of your estate and protecting your property assets on death

Chris joined Morrows in 2001 and was appointed Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in 2007, as well as Responsible Manager on the Morrows Private Wealth Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) in 2010.

Nicole has over 25 years’ experience in human resources, strategy development and business operations within professional services firms and publicly listed companies.  She has a very a diverse background having worked at law firms, accounting firms, Tattersall’s and she has lectured at Swinburne University in management.

David has always taken pride in developing strong relationships with his clients. It’s his easy going nature and attitude that assists him in achieving this. A defining moment in David’s career was becoming partner at 26 in a small accounting firm. Establishing their financial planning arm some years later made him realise there was much more to assisting clients than tax returns and tax advice.

Since high school, technology has always appealed to Adam. As he began his passion for entrepreneurship at the age of 17, Adam now has over 20 years’ experience advising business owners about software and finance. As a registered Chartered Accountant, he specialises in using Key Predictive Indicators in conjunction with financial information, to maximise the effectiveness of the client’s operations. He has worked in a variety of business environments, which has given him a well-rounded perspective on what is appropriate for the client. Adam also enjoys giving back to his community, and is the President of the Brunswick Secondary College School Council and past President of the Rotary Club of Brunswick.

A late recruit to accounting, Maureen did her degree at 40 and since then has worked for KPMG and Pitcher Partners in Melbourne, cementing her skills after which she joined Morrows.

An experienced professional within the financial planning industry, Allison has developed her expertise and scope of experience to include advice in relation to superannuation, retirement planning, investments, estate planning, personal and business insurance.

Murray Wyatt

Murray is recognised amongst his peers as an expert in Family Governance and Inter-generational Wealth transfer. He specialises in providing advice in complex cases and blended families. He can utilise the accounting, legal and wealth management resources of the Morrows Group, a multidiscipline practice, to provide superior strategic outcomes. In 1972, he entered the profession as a practising accountant, and he has since gained considerable experience in wealth planning, retirement consulting and SMSFs. This experience lead to his appointment as Chair of CPA Australia's Superannuation Centre of Excellence, a position that he held for nine years. Murray has represented the industry at a national government level, helping develop and implement superannuation policy and legislation.

He has appeared before the Australian Senate Select Committee on Superannuation and has been an expert witness representing the accounting profession. He has also been a member of the Superannuation Advisory Committee, which was established by the industry and the Australian Taxation Office to advise the Government on high-level superannuation issues.

Murray has regularly presented on retirement and planning issues for CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia Ltd, and other professional bodies. He is a member of the CPA Australia Public Practice Committee Victoria and the National Retirement Savings Centre of Excellence.

He has grown and developed his skills as part of his journey with his long standing clients and now specialises in Family Governance and Inter-generational wealth transfer.

I have built up a body of experience in taxation, financial management and corporate advice, along with company secretarial practices, family business governance and assurance.

I am also a Chartered Secretary, and qualified to advise on corporate matters and large-scale business decisions. I have lectured extensively in both postgraduate masters and undergraduate degree courses in accounting, taxation, financial analysis and business management.

Her talents were recognised and rewarded in 2001 when she became partner. Laurel ran the Private Wealth team so successfully the business unit won Practice of the Year from Securitor/Asgard in 2008, 2010 and 2011. Much of Laurel’s time is now spent on the strategic direction of Morrows as a whole but she still finds time for providing sophisticated advice to our key clients, other company directors and significant family businesses.

Neil Yeoman

Neil started in public practice in 1990 and worked in three firms over the next decade, developing strong general taxation knowledge. It was at this point Neil decided to specialise in superannuation having joined Morrows in 1994 and observing their considerable strength in this area. Neil’s work for Morrows clients covers their self managed super funds, compliance and audit matters. He is also regularly contacted by other accountants for advice on complex superannuation matters relating to their clients.

Neil Yeoman continues to be Morrows’ specialist SMSF Audit Partner and at the request of CPA Australia in  2013 sat the audit competency exam pre-release as part of ASICs’ moderation program. He was also involved in the subsequent debriefing sessions held with ASIC and the ATO to assist with the development of the professional benchmarks.

Able to make sense of highly complex information, Neil has also been the driver of Morrows’ IT infrastructure development. He handles all our software needs including working with Xero, MYOB and other key packages and keeps us one of the most technically advanced firms in the finance industry. A quiet achiever, Neil became a partner in Morrows in 2001 and provides reliable and considered input to the running of the practice.

Chris Molloy

Chris joined Morrows in 2001 and was appointed Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in 2007, as well as Responsible Manager on the Morrows Private Wealth Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) in 2010.   In 2014, Chris was awarded “Hedge Fund Adviser of the Year” at the Australian Hedge Fund Awards in recognition of his commitment to the hedge fund industry and his advocacy of absolute return investing.  As CIO, Chris oversees the MPW Investment Committee and is responsible for managing MPW’s portfolio construction and investment selection process.

Nicole Easton

Nicole has over 25 years’ experience in human resources, strategy development and business operations within professional services firms and publicly listed companies.  She has a very a diverse background having worked at law firms, accounting firms, Tattersall’s and she has lectured at Swinburne University in management.

Prior to joining Morrows, Nicole was the National HR Manager – Advisor Services for Findex /Crowe Horwath and managed a national HR team.

Nicole has a passion for building the capabilities of Morrows and its people and enjoys working at both a strategic and operational level to develop the firm and its staff.

Nicole has a Masters in Management, Graduate Diploma in Management, Bachelor of Business, Associate Diploma of Legal Practice, Certificate IV in Coaching and is an Accredited DiSC Specialist.

David Alcorn

David has always taken pride in developing strong relationships with his clients. It’s his easy going nature and attitude that assists him in achieving this. A defining moment in David’s career was becoming partner at 26 in a small accounting firm. Establishing their financial planning arm some years later made him realise there was much more to assisting clients than tax returns and tax advice.

To this end, David now boasts extensive experience in assisting clients with all their financial planning needs, particularly in the areas of self-managed superannuation, retirement planning, wealth accumulation strategies and geared investments. David also specialises in assisting SME clients with their succession and asset protection strategies to ensure they get to enjoy the wealth that has been accumulated over their working life.   ‘Helping clients achieve their financial goals and simplify their life is what makes it all worthwhile’.

David takes the approach that he would never offer advice he wouldn’t take himself.

Paul Baxter


With over 25 years experience in the profession, Paul has been exposed to all areas of general practice. Today, his primary focus is on business services and tax. Paul has had extensive exposure to the implementation of computerised accounting and information systems and as such, has an eye for creating more efficient practices within businesses. As some of Paul's large clients do not have their own financial controllers, Paul assists them by producing detailed management reports which are created using a variety of technological solutions. Paul's background, combined with a 'hands on' approach, enables him to provide practical answers to contemporary business problems.When not in the office, Paul would prefer to be travelling, however, if this is not possible, he is more than likely to be found with either a surfboard or guitar in hand.

Business clients often rely on Paul's guidance throughout their life cycle. He has the experience and approach that will support start ups, guide established companies and help design and deliver exit strategies.

Paul's advice for individuals centres around helping them set their personal financial strategy.

Paul is supported by a strong team that assists in all areas, including satisfying the often undervalued compliance requirements for business.

Away from the office Paul enjoys golf, surfing and going to sporting events.

Bruno D’Angelo

Bruno qualified as an accountant in 1983 and has been in the profession ever since, working for former Price Waterhouse managers prior to entering into partnership with Bruce.  He is passionate about providing the best possible accounting service to his clients, making sure he attends to their work quickly and accurately.

Now working from Morrows Southbank offices, Bruno will be working with his client as he always has done as well as advising our managers and team members on what is needed to continue to meet their needs.

Rabia Javed-May


Rabia is an experienced and talented lawyer, who began her law career in 2005. Since then, she has honed her legal skills and developed expertise in all facets of estate planning and asset protection. Rabia’s thorough knowledge of the legal system and ability to understand the unique circumstances of her clients allows her to find tailored, practical solutions for her client’s wealth management and estate planning needs.

Ian Jenkins

 

Ian has been working in the accounting industry for over 40 years and as such, has operated at all levels of Chartered Accountancy assisting clients with tax, audit and business service. Over this time, he has been exposed to many different business situations across small to large enterprises and has developed specialist expertise in project work (such as buying and selling business), corporate restructuring, financial management, finance raising and forensic accounting.

In addition to the above, Ian has been a Non-Executive Member on a number of Boards and has assisted major clients where they did not have an in-house Chief Financial Officer. Ian has had extensive experience in professional service entities, advertising agencies, financial service businesses, retail motor vehicle dealerships, start-ups and property/building development.

Ian was a Partner of MSI Ragg Weir for nearly 35 years, spending the last 8 years as the Managing Partner. In June 2018 MSI Ragg Weir and Morrows joined forces to provide comprehensive advice and house service to their clients. Ian prides himself on being actively involved and offering a 'hands on' approach to his clients' business. Over the years, Ian has also been actively involved in many honorary roles with a number of Not-for-Profit organisations using his skill sets as a businessman and registered Company Auditor. These include Company Secretary and Audit Committee Member for Beyond Blue for 14 years; significant roles with one of the leading fund-raising Rotary Club's in Australia; Head of the Audit and Risk Committee for Tennis Victoria for 17 years as well as a number of Treasurer roles for others.

Outside the office, Ian enjoys a range of activities including travelling, keeping fit and particularly watching and participating in motorsports.

 

Adam Ramage

Anne Rollason

 

Anne has decades of experience in the accounting industry, with over ten years of experience in the small to medium business sector. Anne is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Today, Anne's work has two focuses - business services clients and SMSF clients and advice.

Anne is a CA SMSF Specialist and SMSF Auditor.  Anne is always looking for opportunities in the SMSF arena for the benefit of clients, especially in terms of structuring arrangements.  Her business services clients are from a range of industries and vary in size from smaller 'mum and dad clients' upwards.

Anne's philosophy is to provide good service to clients, this encompasses value for money, efficient delivery, appropriate advice and being able to know and understand the individual needs and objectives of each client.

Away from the office, Anne enjoys keeping fit by walking her dog and going bushwalking.  This goes some way toward compensating for the time she spends on sedentary craft pursuits and sampling good food and wine.

Leah Smallman

 

Leah has over 20 years of accounting and tax experience that she has built up throughout her career. She has developed her skills during her many roles including her time as a partner in an accounting practice, on the finance committee of a not-for-profit and running a small hospitality business. Leah’s educational background includes being an associate of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and having a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Computing at Deakin University.

Leah’s skills and knowledge has allowed her to help her varied clients in this complicated business world, where information overload is common. She is great at understanding her clients’ needs, listening for what the “real” problem is and coming up with practical solutions without the jargon. In today’s busy world, having Leah to rely on to ensure the important but “boring” stuff is done is invaluable.

 

Lee Wong

 

Lee has over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession with 20 years in first and large second tier firms including 6 years overseas in London.

Lee is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a member of Chartered Secretaries Australia and a registered company auditor.

Lee has detailed knowledge and experience in a wide sector of businesses. His clients range from the not-for-profit sector with turnovers as small as $100,000 for a sporting club to clients in the for-profit sector with turnover exceeding $400 million for a commodity trader. His clients include associations, trade unions, companies limited by guarantee, proprietary companies and public unlisted and listed companies. Approximately 50% of his clients are in the not-for-profit sector.

Lee takes a practical approach to finding the solutions to enable his audit and non audit clients to meet compliance requirements and improve their business processes. All clients receive the same degree of care and attention that they expect, regardless of their size. The firm's location in Hawthorn means that the firm is able to provide a high level of service for a lower cost.

Lee is the partner with primary responsibilities for audit and accounting standards.

Archie Lygris

Archie is a diligent and thorough accountant who leads his team well as well as being a founding member of the Morrows Leadership Group.

He has contributed significantly to our cultural change initiatives and through that program and continues to develop his people management skills for his team’s and his own benefit.

A thoughtful contributor, Archie’s considered views often provide the catalyst needed to reach leadership decisions.

Carmen Greenhill

 

Carmen is an experienced Chartered Accountant, having started with the firm in 1996 as an Industry Based Learning Student and steadily progressed through the ranks to become an Associate.

She focuses her attention in the Business Services and Taxation areas of the firm and really enjoys assisting clients navigate the complexities of the business world and associated reporting requirements. Over the years she has gained a wide variety of experiences as the client base she manages is very diversified and she has undertaken a broad range of activities including large transactional work in buying and selling business. When opportunities arise, Carmen is also keen to help clients with the "start up" phase of their new business and like all the professionals at MSI Ragg Weir focuses on giving valued added and personal advice.

Outside of work, Carmen enjoys camping with her family.

With a well-developed reputation for providing high quality accounting, tax and technical advice, Lisa also shares a passion for technology and has successfully implemented procedures in prior roles around SMSF data automation and developing procedures through the use of cloud technology.

Lisa has worked as an SMSF Manager at a Big 4 accounting firm, mid-tier accounting firm, a suburban accounting firm and at an administrator.  Her client centric approach, coupled with an eagerness to share her enthusiasm for SMSFs, has enabled her to stand out from her peers.

Michael Scholefield

 

Michael has made the short journey from across the ditch, moving to Melbourne from New Zealand after attaining his CA membership in 2011. Starting with MSI Ragg Weir just a week after arrival Michael has become part of the family culture that we embrace. Working alongside Leah Smallman their focus is on helping small and medium size businesses understand their business, provide advice and assist in meeting all tax obligations.

Moving to Melbourne was an easy choice for Michael who thoroughly enjoys the coffee, food and the array of sports on his door step. When not working Michael will either be working on a car, hosting a dinner party, watching the footy or on a nature walk around Melbourne.

Marcus Siah

 

Marcus began his career with the firm in 2000 and has worked his way up the ranks to the role of an Associate. Over his 16 years of experience with all the current Partners of the firm as his mentors he has gained experience in Business Services, assisting clients with tax issues and cloud accounting solutions.

Marcus has extensive knowledge of cloud accounting software and has assisted many clients with a "software needs assessment" and  implementation of new accounting systems to help them gain efficiencies within their business. As part of this role, Marcus is skilled in the use of MYOB products and is Xero Certified.

In addition to the above Marcus also currently serves as the Treasurer on the Board of a Not For Profit Organisation; Huntington's Victoria. He believes that it is important to give back to the community to make it a better place.

In his downtime Marcus enjoys keeping fit and spending time with his family and friends.

Joe Pulvirenti

Joe joined Morrows in July 2008, and now manages one of our business advisory teams. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser whose main focus is on Morrows business clients.

He specialises in consulting and providing advice on strategic direction as well as general tax and accounting obligations. He completed his studies at Swinburne University, majoring in accounting with a law minor in 1997.  Keen to get hands on experience, he entered the accounting profession in July 1997.

Ashwind Skinnon

Ashwind started in the professional services industry in March 2003 as a Tax Consultant with Ernst & Young in New Zealand before moving to Australia in November 2005. He has over 10 years of professional services firm experience in Australia.

Jonathan Swanton

Jonathan is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Financial Planning® practitioner with more than 15 years in the financial services industry.  He has particular expertise in retirement planning, tax planning and compliance, superannuation, structures, investments, insurance and social security.

In his work, Jonathan thrives on helping clients see their true financial potential using comprehensive modelling and strategies aimed at providing greater certainty in an uncertain world. He values the satisfaction he gets from seeing clients realise what is possible for their financial situation and providing the necessary road map to achieving what is truly most important to them.

Lisa Wilson

Lisa has been involved in the accounting and business advisory industry since 1998. Joining the Morrows team in 2012, Lisa is recognised and regarded for her strong client relationships, commitment to continual improvement and excellent technical skills.

Lisa advises and supports clients in many areas including strategic planning, structuring and asset protection, business improvement, and taxation consulting. She has a great ability to listen to and understand her clients' needs and is highly experienced in delivering seamless and high quality service to meet those needs.

Yin Huang

 

Yin has over 15 years’ experience in Business Services.

She started her professional career in 2003, qualified in 2005 and joined MSI Ragg Weir in 2010. With the direct mentorship of the Senior Partner of MSI Ragg Weir, Ian L. Jenkins, she has moved through various levels over the last 8 years from a Senior Accountant to a Manager and then to Associate. She is very excited about the merger with Morrows and their “one team” approach in assisting clients.

Yin is passionate about providing excellent client services and best possible solutions. She takes pride in her work and is well trusted by her mentors and clients. She had been exposed to all areas of accounting, tax compliance, business structuring, tax planning and superannuation and has gained extensive knowledge over the years. With her all rounded knowledge and an approach of “think out of the box”, she is the go-to person of her team when there is a matter to tackle.

Maureen Allan

A late recruit to accounting, Maureen did her degree at 40 and since then has worked for KPMG and Pitcher Partners in Melbourne, cementing her skills after which she joined Morrows.

Always interested in superannuation and the legalities of running a compliant self managed fund, Maureen’s knowledge is a great resource for our clients but also many of our professional peers. She is a thorough and dedicated auditor of SMSFs and also enjoys opportunities to present legislative and regulatory updates to other professionals.

Maureen supports Murray in CPAA roadshows on SMSF issues and has developed the Morrows Quality Control manual for our business. In addition to these responsibilities, Maureen always makes time for training her team members and encouraging them to set the standards for best practice in superannuation administration and audit.

Paul Hodge

A long term and highly valued employee Morrows, Paul was recruited via the RMIT Co-op Program in 1988, completed his studies and then joined the Business Services and Tax team full time.

Allison Hyland

 

Allison is an Advisor whose career commenced with Morrows in 2010, as a Paraplanner.

Allison has eight years of experience within the financial planning industry, and has developed her expertise to include advice in relation to a range of wealth management topics. Her scope of experience includes superannuation, retirement planning, investments, estate planning, personal and business insurance, life and disability insurance claims, business succession planning, aged care advice and Centrelink advice.

Allison’s passion lies with helping people to realise their personal financial goals through tailored advice.

She has also managed a number of life and disability insurance claims. During the claim process these clients, and their families valued Allison’s care and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Emma Stoffels

 

Emma has over 20 years’ experience in Financial services including ten years as an integral part of the firm and is a Certified Financial planner CFP®. Emma is passionate about assisting clients from all walks of life achieve the best financial outcomes possible while building strong relationships with her clients. Emma’s particular areas of interest include:

Russell Krupp

Russell is a lawyer with over 10 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. He completed his law degree at Deakin University in 2003 and his Masters of Tax at Melbourne University in 2010. He is also a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor.

Russell’s key expertise is in tax and revenue law, together with trusts and superannuation law. He also practices in more general commercial law and has extensive experience in drafting commercial agreements such as shareholders and unitholders agreements, and share sale and purchase agreements.

Since joining Morrows Legal, Russell has concentrated on developing and supplementing the practice’s general revenue, trust and commercial law enterprise.

Russell’s clients include professional services firms, technology and media businesses, and high net wealth individuals.

Kellie Stark


Kellie joined the Morrows team in 2015. Throughout her career as a Chartered Accountant, Kellie has gained a breadth of experience in both Second Tier Professional Services Firms and Industry.

During her time in industry, Kellie worked with a Marketing Group as Financial Controller, where she assisted a franchise based business with management reporting, revenue growth, intellectual property, commercial property transactions and business finance.

Working with developing clients, Kellie provides advisory services on strategic planning, corporate structuring, asset protection, performance improvement and taxation consulting.

Kellie has a passion for strengthening client relationships and improving the client experience. Her technical capabilities and business advisory skills are well regarded and provide high quality results for clients

Kyle Brumley

 

Kyle is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planning CFP® practitioner with more than 7 years in the financial services industry.  He is a member of the Morrows Investment Committee and has specialist knowledge in portfolio construction and the investment selection process.

Throughout his career, Kyle has developed an expertise and passion for retirement planning, tax planning and compliance, superannuation, structures, cashflow management, insurance and social security. He appreciates that financial goals are unique to every individual and evolve over time. Kyle is highly motivated and gains fulfillment in his role as an advisor at Morrows when partnering with his clients to simplify their finances, set achievable financial goals and give them confidence to plan for their future.
