The global economy entered 2018 in a buoyant mood with sentiment indicators at 30-year highs but in December the US markets entered bear territory. So, what happened? Chris Molloy, CIO of Morrows Private Wealth highlights our outlook for the markets and what this means for investors and their portfolio strategy.

Chris joined Morrows in 2001 and was appointed Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in 2007, as well as Responsible Manager on the Morrows Private Wealth Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) in 2010. In 2014, Chris was awarded “Hedge Fund Adviser of the Year” at the Australian Hedge Fund Awards in recognition of his commitment to the hedge fund industry and his advocacy of absolute return investing.
