Going the Extra Mile- Morrows GEM Awards recipients

In November 2021, we announced the Morrows ‘Going the Extra Mile’ (GEM) Awards recipients, a scheme that recognises team members who consistently go above and beyond. The GEM Award scheme gives our management and staff the opportunity to say thank you to one another for going the extra mile, through monthly nominations for our hardworking colleagues.

What are the GEM Awards?

The purpose of the Morrows GEM Award is to recognise the positive contributions staff make to the success of the organisation, individually and/or as part of a team through significant outstanding performance and innovation which supports the six Morrows values (Authenticity, Empathy, Innovation, Teamwork, Accountability and Diversity).

Recognising staff members who have performed above and beyond normal expectations and are often defined as ‘Going the Extra Mile’.

Our sincere thank you and congratulations go out to the following One Team members:

  • Tamara Cawood was nominated for displaying the Morrows values of Teamwork, Innovation and Empathy. Tamara has stepped up significantly to assist in training new employees by creating a legal manual to assist the team moving forward. Thank you, Tamara, for your positive outlook and your endearing nature towards your team and everyone around you.
  • Hannah Bennett was nominated for displaying the Morrows values of Teamwork and Innovation. Hannah is an active contributor to our Morrows Press Club; she’s a team player who regularly volunteers her time to create content and assist others.
  • Our Clark Team Trainers (Rob White, Adam Lourie & Anthony Noto) were nominated for displaying the Morrows value of Innovation. Their guidance and assistance to help upskill and train our new Clark Team has been immense. For example, creating videos and manuals on our processes to support new team members.

All our deserving winners are rewarded with a Prezzee gift voucher and certificate to record their achievement. Thank you once again for your commitment and support of the Morrows One Team.
