 Duncan Pelham-Webb

Duncan is a third generation lawyer and joined Morrows Legal as a Special Counsel from Aitken Partners/John Matthies & Co where he had been from 1992.

He has wide and extensive experience in all property law, particularly in respect of mortgages and securities (and recoveries, disputes and mediation) and also including broad acre subdivisions, leasing, sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties (including Melbourne CBD properties) and purchase and sale of business.  He also assists clients with superannuation, trusts, wills and estates, succession planning and general business and commercial law.

Recent matters in which Duncan has been involved are:

  • Supreme Court Litigation based around a disputed property valuation which led to issues of professional negligence by valuers
  • Supreme Court Litigation on behalf of the first mortgage financier in a dispute by a second mortgage financier and property developers and builders; and
  • Application for Australian Credit Licences under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act
  • A number of Applications under Part IV of the Administration and Probate Act
